Leesburg, VA, February 7, 2018 – B3 Group, Inc, a fast-growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone health IT firm providing end-to-end technology support services to the federal government and enterprise customers, today announced that 2018 marks the beginning of a milestone 10-year anniversary. The company plans to celebrate this milestone year with employees, partners and customers.
The company was founded by Brad Palmer in 2008, after several years of independent consulting, serving both public and federal clients. Palmer sought to create a company enabling him and other like-minded professionals, to serve as trusted partners and advisors for their clients. The spirit of being an industry leader through servant leadership in IT laid the foundation for B3 Group. Like most start-ups, the company encountered the challenges of securing new customers and gaining access to a highly competitive market dominated by larger companies. In 2011, B3 Group was accepted into the prestigious George Mason University (GMU) Business Incubator Program. That same year, Dwight Hunt joined B3 Group as President and CEO. Hunt came to the company having enjoyed a distinguished 20-year career with the U.S. Army, serving in a wide range of Acquisition positions, including Program Management and operational assignments.
Since graduating from the Mason Enterprise Business Center Business Incubator Program, B3 Group has doubled in size each year and has emerged as a leading provider of health IT services to the federal government and enterprise customers. In 2016, the company was one of twenty-eight companies awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) 10-year, $22.3 billion Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology Next Generation (T4NG) IDIQ. Last year, B3 Group was awarded over $240M in federal contracts and was ranked 1223 by Inc. magazine on its 36th annual Inc. 5000, the most prestigious ranking of the nation’s fastest-growing private companies.
B3 Group’s significant strategic accomplishment has been to balance the company’s substantial organic growth while maintaining its core values. “During our 10-year life span, our focus on customer service has never wavered”, said Brad Palmer, B3 Group’s founder and COO. “Our values-driven team of business, IT and management professionals blend innovation and client-first thinking to deliver sustainable solutions for better healthcare outcomes.”
As the Company matured, B3 Group evolved its scope and service offerings. “Today, B3 Group offers a comprehensive portfolio of services, including acquisition support, clinical health IT solutions, program management, software engineering along with training in a wide range of learning areas”, added Dwight Hunt, President and CEO. “What started out 10 years ago has steadily grown into a business far exceeding anyone’s expectations and we are very proud of this accomplishment and grateful to our customers and employees who helped get us here.”
