B3 Awarded S/WIMS Human Resources Contract
September 17, 2020 (Herndon, VA) – B3 Group, Inc. was awarded the $16M Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Safety and Workers’ Compensation Information Management System (S/WIMS) contract. B3 Group will provide project management and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) support to include design, configuration, testing, training, communications, change management, deployment, service desk, and system sustainment for a SaaS solution. As part of the VA’s modernization, the platform will transform the technology, data, and business processes needed for Human Resources (HR) to support its workforce and its services provided to veterans. In addition, this solution, and its enterprise capabilities, will ultimately improve the management systems, processes, and customer support services provided by HR.

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Office of Information & Technology (OIT), Office of the Chief Human Capital Officer (OCHCO) strives to provide high quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) services to those responsible for providing care to the veterans. The mission of OCHCO is to transform the way VA does Human Resources (HR) in support of the VA workforce and services to veterans, enabling it to provide its services across 172 medical centers and 1,250 outpatient clinics.
