October 13, 2021 (Herndon, VA) – B3 Group is proud to announce its partnership with Amida in support of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Enterprise Data Catalog. The B3/Amida team is helping VA simplify and automate the discovery, meta-data tagging and registration, and creation of semantic relationships between distributed and siloed data assets at the VA.
“We are excited to partner with Amida on this unique opportunity at VA,” said Chad Hensley, B3 Group’s VP of Technology. “The long-term impact of this effort will directly improve our Veterans’ outcomes by supporting faster insights to VA’s most complex issues, from Veterans benefits to suicide prevention.”
The B3/Amida solution systematically connects upstream data assets with downstream business applications, ultimately enabling VA’s Office of Information Technology (OIT) to support interoperability, exchange, security, and governance solutions, solving their most complex data problems.
“B3’s reputation for integrity and trust was the deciding factor for us,” said Michael Lumpkin, President of Amida. “This effort is fundamental to VA’s technology modernization efforts and will have tremendously leveraged impact on how VA manages all its data, from clinical care services to benefits delivery, and from supply chain management to human resources. We are deeply honored that B3 chose us to help them.”
