November 13, 2018 (Herndon, Va.) – B3 Group, Inc., a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) health IT and PMO firm for the federal government, has received the Excellence in Partnership (EIP) Award in the Veteran’s Employment category from the Coalition for Government Procurement.
The EIP awards honor individuals and organizations in the acquisition community who have made significant contributions to the procurement system that deliver the best value and help meet agency missions. B3 Group was honored in the Veteran’s Employment Award category, which recognizes a government agency, contractor or individual for promoting and executing a successful veteran program.
B3 Group works directly and consistently with people who have served in the U.S. military through its contracts with the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and its employment of 55 veterans. The company also supports the veteran community through corporate social responsibility initiatives and mentor-protégé partnerships with local SDVOSB companies.
“We are proud to support those who have sacrificed for our country,” said Dwight Hunt, B3 Group president and CEO. “Our veteran employees are integral to our company’s success, and we are lucky to have each of them on the team.”
B3 Group has been recognized through other recent awards focused on veteran employment, including the Virginia Values Veterans (V3) Governor’s Award and the Department of Labor’s HIRE Vets Medallion Program Demonstration Award.
