Leesburg, VA, April 11, 2017 – B3 Group, Inc. announced today its acceptance into the Small Business Administrations (SBA’s) SDVOSB Mentor-Protégé Program in partnership with LongView International Technology Solutions, Inc. The program, which is designed to promote growth while enhancing government contract competitiveness, offers small businesses access to mentor-provided assistance from larger firms.
Under the program agreement, LongView will mentor B3 Group in solutioning, proposals, business development and business process reengineering. This support will help strengthen B3 Group’s offerings to the marketplace and allow the company to better support the needs of customers throughout the broader healthcare IT and federal market.
B3 Group, a growing Virginia-based healthcare IT services provider, holds a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Business (SDVOSB) designation and was recently awarded the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Transformation Twenty-One Total Technology – Next Generation (T4NG) IDIQ Contract to provide information technology services to VA.
“LongView is an excellent cultural fit with B3 Group as a company and specifically with our leadership. As a Mentor, I know that their experience in navigating a very similar path to the one that we are now charting will prove invaluable as we progress and mature, enabling us to better able to support our VA and other healthcare IT customers”, commented Dwight Hunt, US Army, Ret., President and CEO of B3 Group on the company’s decision to form a Mentor-Protégé relationship with LongView.
“This relationship will be beneficial to both B3 Group and LongView. The most significant beneficiaries of this initiative, however, will be our current and future customers as we help B3 Group mature and grow, and jointly deliver best value leading edge solutions and services”, added Satish Unni, Longview’s Executive Vice President.
LongView, a graduate SDVOSB and successful contractor under the previous iteration of the VA’s T4 contract vehicle, is a trusted name in the Federal IT community. Headquartered in Herndon, Virginia, Longview is focused on continued expansion of its Heathcare IT, Cyber Security, Enterprise Systems and Mobile solutions and services.
